Graduating Class of Bike/Pedestrian Safety Instructors

Bike Safety Instructors

NVRC is pleased to announce 12 new licensed bicycle instructor graduates from a recent bicycle/pedestrian training program held over the past month. After a grueling ~30 hour course this past weekend, these instructors will be available to provide education and outreach on pedestrian and bicycle safety, as well as lead rides and teach bicycling.

Instructors are from Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Manassas and Burke Lake. A number of the graduates also speak Spanish and other languages. They are passionate and will help NVRC and the region work to increase safety and reduce pedestrian and bicycling crashes and deaths in the region.
