Request for Applications for DC and EMA-wide Services to Persons with HIV/AIDS
Funding for many services under the Ryan White program in the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan Area will be changing from a system of grants to a fee for service system (FFS) starting March 1, 2017.
Virginia organizations that wish to offer Medical Case Management (NOT part of fee for service) to clients from DC, MD, VA AND WV can compete for a portion of the EMA-wide Medical Case Management dollars by applying directly to DC according to the instructions contained within the Request for Applications (RFA) FO-HAHSTA-PG-00193-001 below.
Additional funds for Medical Case Management and other services NOT included in the initial fee for service system will be awarded separately by the Northern Virginia Regional Commission (NVRC). Applicants under this separate RFA, to be advertised soon by NVRC, will serve only Virginia clients.
Also, those vendor organizations who expect to be working in the FFS realm should pay attention to descriptions and requirements of the DC Enterprise Grants Management System (EGMS) starting on page 50, as many of these requirements will also apply to FFS vendors.
