The Fire & Rescue Departments of Northern Virginia is a regional coalition of 14 member departments.  Our mission is to provide the Northern Virginia region with the best possible emergency services through shared use of resources and coordinated emergency response.

The coalition is organized into several committees and work groups, and is led by the Northern Virginia Fire Chiefs Committee (NOVA Chiefs).
