Overview
Households chosen to participate in the project-based set aside apartments, the tenant-based rental assistance program, and the transitional housing program funded by suburban Virginia HOPWA are selected from the regional HOPWA waitlist.
When vacancies arise or new slots are added to HOPWA for these three types of housing, names are selected from this list. The list is organized by date and time the application is received at the office of NVRC.
Effective January 30, 2015, NVRC closed the Regional HOPWA waiting list. Currently there are no plans to re-open the waitlist at a later date.
Annual Updates
Persons wishing to remain on the regional HOPWA waitlist must complete and provide annual updates to NVRC.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to keep NVRC informed (in writing) of any changes in address, phone numbers, and family composition as they occur.
