The Recreation, Parks & Leisure Services program at Northern Virginia
Community College, Annandale Campus will be hosting a Project Underground program this Friday, May 13, 2011 from 9 - 4. "The purpose of Project Underground is to create and build awareness of and responsible attitudes toward karst and cave resources and their management needs. The project is an environmental education program designed to promote better understanding of caves and karstlands". There is a $25 cost to cover the really awesome materials, snacks and the travel expenses of the presenter. Be sure to bring a 1 inch binder with you to organize your materials. Bring your own lunch.
