A recent report by the business organization, Advanced Energy Economy, reveals that more than 40% of advanced energy jobs in the Commonwealth are in Northern Virginia. Fairfax County was ranked first, followed by Loudoun County and in fifth position was Prince William County. The organization estimates that nearly 100,000 persons work in the energy field in Virginia.
